The Pull Force Per Magnet is approximately 4.6 pounds under ideal conditions.
If magnets are placed in a horizontal line, then each magnet will provide approximately 4.6 lbs of force, the pull force WILL multiply by the amount of magnets placed, but if stacked in a vertical position the pull force will NOT multiply by the amount of magnets stacked.
These discs are axially magnetized, so the strong North/South poles are in the center of the flat sides. That makes them easier to stack into a cylinder than to connect side by side.
The metal coating is very durable, but ALL Neodymium magnets can chip or shatter. If used gently, these magnets can serve you for a lifetime.
